The Quincy New Brunswick reported that on May 7, 2013, Parysh Wood, 21, also known as P Gun and Pistol held up a Quincy Pizza delivery man at gunpoint on November 30, 2012. He was making a delivery to someone who lived in the N building at an apartment complex located at Quincy Circle. The apartment resident told the delivery man that nobody there had ordered anything. When the delivery man was returning to his vehicle, he was approached from behind by three men who had told him that they had ordered the pizza. One of the men pointed a gun at the delivery man’s head and demanded money. The three men stole the deliveryman’s pizza, wallet, and some money before taking off in a dark colored minivan. P gun was captured and arrested. His bail was set for $100. Four months later, the crime was solved because of modern technology in tracking criminals, which includes matching footprints.
The New Brunswick Apartment Complex at 33 Commercial Avenue has had its share of bad luck in recent years as it has been a common place for shootings. On October 5, 2015, shots were fired around 9:30 p.m. The victim was able to walk into Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital because he had a gunshot wound that was no endangerment to his life. A limited liability company located in Quincy, Massachusetts owns the North New Jersey 206 apartment unit. Nearby witnesses say they saw the suspect, a man wearing a hoodie, flee the scene at Nielsen Avenue. Because other bullet casings were found on the premises, police are looking into further investigation of this case.
