Sujit Choudhry: Visiting Kiev for Consultation Purposes

Sujit Choudhry is the director of the Center for Constitutional Transitions, a non-profit organization whose prime objective is to introduce the advantage of shifting into a democratic form of government and acquiring a constitution that promotes a democratic government. Sujit Choudhry recently made a trip to Kiev, Ukraine, and he met with several constitutional experts to talk about the future of the Ukrainian Government.

The Center for Constitutional Transitions is working with 50 individuals who are from different countries, and some of them had accompanied Choudhry to Ukraine to persuade the government officials to shift into a democratic form of government. Aside from the advantages of shifting to a democratic form of government, the Center for Constitutional Transitions also listed own the challenges that Ukraine might be facing once they decided to shift into a democratic form of government.

Ukrainian government officials and top Ukrainian scholars will be joining the discussion in Kiev, and they are hoping that through proper dialogue, a resolution to end the problems in Ukraine can be developed. Sujit Choudhry, Director of the Center for Constitutional Transitions met with top constitutional experts in Kiev last summer on July 10th 2017 to discuss the constitutional challenges currently faced by the Ukrainian government (prnewswire.com).
